How to calculate fuel consumption per 100 km
Knowing your vehicles' real consumption helps control the fuel budget and compare the models in your fleet.
The formula
Consumption (L/100 km) = liters used ÷ distance traveled × 100. For a reliable calculation, fill the tank completely every time and record the odometer.
Example: 40 liters for 620 km driven gives 40 ÷ 620 × 100 = 6.5 L/100 km.
