Guaranteeing coverage
Each slot must be covered by the right number of people. By staggering shifts and rest days from one employee to another, you avoid coverage gaps.
Sharing rest days and hours
Two consecutive rest days per week is the norm. Across the cycle, total hours and the number of nights should be close between employees to be seen as fair.
